Nancy and Doug's Vacation, August 2007
Nancy and Doug planned their vacation around three things: 1. Adam's performance in Williamstown in Party Come Here, 2. Seeing "large art", and 3. Renting a convertible! We visited several large-art venues, including MASSMoCA, DIA-Beacon (an absolute must-see if you like Don Judd, et al.), Storm King (with Louise Bourgeois exhibit), and the Frank Gehry hall at Bard. We also visited The Clark (terrific Monet exhibit), the Williams College Museum of Art (wonderful collection), and the Bennington Museum (Grandma Moseses and the original Bennington flag). Cathy and Dan also came to town to see Adam, as did Janet and Len. We also got to have lunch with Sid and Laurie Ross (and Rachel). Adam was wonderful. Seeing everyone was wonderful. The art was wonderful. We had a great time.
